**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive General Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that our customers’ vehicles are safe and reliable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- installing tires
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garage and work areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
- Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous training and education.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in automotive technology preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive service or a similar role.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and diagnostic tools.
- ASE certification(s) is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
